The event will begin at 9 a.m. and will be divided into three parts. The first part will be composed of lectures on localization delivered by prominent experts on this area of translation studies. Invited guests and presented subjects: dr Carmen Mangiron (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona), dr Magdalena Dombek (Lionbridge Poland), Tabea de Wille MA (University of Limerick), dr David Filip (ADAPT Research Centre – Trinity College Dublin), Anca Marica (Ubisoft), Denis Ulybin (Anakan GmbH).
After the lectures, a panel discussion with entrepreneurs and representatives of Polish localization companies is planned to take place. The guests will discuss the expectations and challenges related to localization projects and business management in the localization market. Invited guests include representatives of such companies as Localize.pl, LocWorks, ST Gambit, GetResponse and Bosch Group.
The lectures and panel discussion will be held in English.
They will also share their knowledge and experience related to localization projects during the last, practical part of the workshops. The participants will have the opportunity to improve their professional skills and learn more about software localization, large localization project management, challenges faced by the entrepreneurs operating in the localization market, and board games localization.
